Job Title: Part-Time/Full-Time Team Lead/Trainer - Housekeeping and Janitorial Services

Job Summary:
The Team Lead/Trainer will manage and supervise the daily operations of our housekeeping and janitorial staff, ensuring excellence in service delivery. This role is not only critical in training and development but also requires hands-on participation in cleaning and maintenance duties as needed, particularly when regular staff are unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the housekeeping and janitorial team, ensuring effective completion of all tasks.

  • Train new and current staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment use.

  • Step in and perform cleaning duties when regular staff members are unavailable.

  • Take Employees to and from Jobs

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to company and client standards.

  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and resource utilization.

  • Address client complaints and service issues promptly.

  • Maintain inventory control of supplies and equipment, and manage ordering as necessary.

  • Drive continuous improvement in service quality and team performance.

  • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.

  • Provide regular performance feedback and conduct employee evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the cleaning or janitorial sector.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods and operations.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard health and safety practices.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks and handle cleaning duties as needed.

  • Flexibility to respond to emergency calls or fill in for absent staff.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Driving for over 2 years and has been in no accidents

  • Must possess the ability to use a mobile device and have mobile data access to utilize the company app for clocking in and out, communicating with Team Members and Managers, and addressing customer complaints submitted through the app.
